Mteto Nyati

Mteto is currently the chairman of Eskom and executive chairman of BSG, a homegrown businessand technology consulting firm that specialise on strategy execution. Mteto has recorded astoried and successful career in technology. He was Chief Executive Officer, MTN South Africa,as well as Managing Director, Microsoft South Africa. He spent 12 years in IBM, handling variousroles in multiple jurisdictions, including Director of Global Technology Services, South Africa.Mteto studied mechanical engineering at the University of Kwazulu-Natal. In 2021, he wasawarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Johannesburg. He is a Yale University WorldFellow on Global Leadership.
